A range is where budgeting starts — your Design Packet's itemized, catalog-numbered cabinet list is what makes it exact, and quotable by any shop.

How this calculation works

The math uses typical US per-linear-foot planning ranges for base cabinets by tier, with wall runs priced at 0.75× base (smaller boxes) and tall runs at 1.6× (pantries and oven towers are multiples of a base cabinet). Results round to $100 increments and cover cabinets only — counters, appliances, and installation are separate. Real kitchens vary with door style, finish, and interior fittings, which is exactly why this is a range.

The way past the range: your Design Packet lists every cabinet in your design by catalog part number, so a dealer prices your exact kitchen instead of a per-foot average. That list is what makes this budget exact — and comparable across shops.

A calculator can only estimate. Your Design Packet lists every cabinet by catalog number, so any shop can turn it into an exact quote — and every quote prices the same design.
